We Threw a Halloween Class Party (with the help of Walmart+)!

I think we can all agree 2020 has been a wild year! We’ve all had to learn to adapt with the times and since the kids are home with me more often than not, getting a Walmart+ membership has been one of the better choices I’ve made this year! Walmart+ offers benefits such as free unlimited delivery ($35 minimum, restrictions apply), mobile scan & go, and member prices on fuel at Walmart and Murphy stations. 

With the holidays coming up, this membership has made shopping a stress free experience since I’m taking full advantage of their mobile scan & go benefit. Since Ryder’s Halloween party was rescheduled due to the hurricane, I couldn’t think of a more perfect time to grab all the necessities and take this option for a test drive.

For the party, I knew I wanted to create cute, spooky treats. We decided to make Rice Krispies and festive Halloween popcorn hands with candy corn. Earlier in the week, I made a mental shopping list, walked into the store, and got right to it! I found everything I needed (even the candy eyes for the treats), scanned the items while I shopped, and was able to check out quickly at the self-checkout. The Walmart+ mobile scan & go feature is my favorite benefit from the membership. 

The fact that I can checkout so quickly AND on my phone while shopping in the store blows my mind! Plus it makes shopping contact free and saves me so much time, especially if the kids are shopping with me and not feeling particularly patient.

If you are looking to make your life less stressful and your shopping experiences easier, I cannot recommend Walmart+ enough! It was a a great experience for me and I’m so happy I took advantage of it now. My holiday and Black Friday shopping is about to get 1000% easier!
