From city life to beautiful beaches, I’m sharing the ultimate guide to the best spring break spots, plus a few travel essentials to make your trip stress-free!
For Couples: Romance & Relaxation

Islamorada, Florida
Known as the “Sportfishing Capital of the World,” Islamorada in the Florida Keys is a dreamy destination for couples looking for sun, sea, and relaxation. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets, waterfront dining, and adventure activities like snorkeling or paddleboarding. In the past, we took the kids on this trip but I would love to revisit with just Eric for the ultimate beach getaway. I was just telling him I want to go back here for our anniversary!
Must-Do: Book a sunset cruise and enjoy fresh seafood at Lorelei Restaurant. For more on what to eat, what to do and where to stay, visit our Spring Break | Recap of Islamorada blog post! Can’t ditch the family or simply don’t want to? Our travel guide to the Florida Keys might be a hit for your family or for an amazing couples’ trip!

Jackson Hole, Wyoming
If you and your husband/ wife or family love the great outdoors, Jackson Hole is a must-visit. While we visited in the fall/winter, springtime brings excellent skiing, wildlife spotting in Grand Teton National Park, and cozy lodges perfect for après-ski relaxation. Hands down, this continues to be one of mine and Eric’s favorite trips we’ve ever been on. Imagine waking up each morning, grabbing your coffee and getting to catch a glimpse of the sun rising over the Teton mountains. It was breathtaking! I would 100% recommend staying here – I’ve linked the exact cabin we stayed at!
Must-Do: Visit Yellowstone in one day and then head to Grand Teton the next day! You will be amazed at all the beauty and God’s creation you are able to witness up north! Our full recap on everything we did in Jackson Hole can be found HERE.
For Solo Travelers: Adventure Awaits

Las Vegas, Nevada
Vegas isn’t just for parties—it’s also a fantastic solo travel destination! From world-class entertainment and delicious dining to hiking in nearby Red Rock Canyon, there’s always something to do. Eric and I took our son last year and found Vegas to surprisingly be very family friendly too! If you are looking to entertain yourself with shows, do some outdoor exploring, or see a concert, this is a great starter location for solo travelers!
Must-Do: FlyOver Vegas, a simulated flight ride that lets you soar over incredible landscapes, is a must! When I visited, I loved it so much that we returned later that day to do it again! Don’t forget to get your shopping or window watching done at the Canal Shoppes at The Venetian too! Whether you visit alone, bring a group of girlfriends with, or bring your family along, this Vegas blog post will help you plan the ultimate trip!

Big Sky, Montana
If you’re looking for solitude and breathtaking natural beauty, Big Sky is the place to be. Spring offers the last chance for skiing before the season ends, plus plenty of hiking and relaxation at luxury mountain resorts. The best part about visiting a national park on your solo trip is that you never truly feel alone. Everyone is out and about in nature so waving and giving a head nod at people while you taking in stunning views together is normal!
Must-Do: Experience Yellowstone National Park, just a short drive away! I’ve recapped our off season trip to Big Sky HERE! National parks get insanely busy during their peak seasons, so I am always an advocate to visit during the slower months! You won’t regret it!
For Families: Fun and Adventure for All Ages

San Antonio, Texas
San Antonio is such a fun destination with a mix of history, culture, and entertainment. Families can explore The Alamo, stroll along the vibrant River Walk, and cool off at SeaWorld or Six Flags Fiesta Texas. My husband Eric and I went on a couple’s trip here to see Ryan Bingham, but we would love to bring the kids next time we visit!
Must-Do: Take a boat tour on the River Walk and visit the San Antonio Zoo. We loved taking the Rio Tour on the River Walk. If you like learning a little bit of history when you travel, then you will love this activity! Your guide will narrate the trip and give you all the details on San Antonio as you make your way down the river. For The Ultimate Weekend Guide to San Antonio, TX, click HERE.

Disney Destinations (Orlando, FL or Anaheim, CA)
There’s not many places that are as magical as Disney! We visited a few years back for our family-friendly vacation. Transparently, we used a travel agent to book this trip since we had never been. She made it so easy and we were able to jam pack our two-day itinerary and see so much of the park! Whether you choose Walt Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California, you’re in for an experience filled with thrilling rides, beloved characters, and unforgettable memories.
Must-Do: Visit Magic Kingdom for the ultimate Disney experience and enjoy lunch at Cinderella’s Castle. For a full trip itinerary and everything we did, visit Our Disney Recap blog post.
Staycation Idea: Pawley’s Island, South Carolina

For those of you who call South Carolina home and want a relaxing break without going too far, Pawley’s Island is a hidden gem. With its beautiful beaches, quaint restaurants , and laid-back vibes, it’s the perfect place to vacation. Must-Do: Spend your days lounging on the beach and dining on fresh seafood at local spots like Franks and Franks Outback. Our entire restaurant guide on where to eat can be found HERE.
