The Ultimate Packing List

After weekend getaways with my husband and family vacations with the kids, I feel like I officially have this whole packing thing down. Some people are over-packers and others could pack in their sleep. While I am definitely guilty of packing too much at times, I’m highlighting a handful of items that are a necessity for us. You need to make sure these items come along on your next trip!

We are currently spending time at the beach celebrating the end of a homeschool year. While everywhere I looked (Instagram, Pinterest, and friends) told me to pack sunscreen, beach toys, and a good pair of sunglasses, I’ve noticed there are some items that simply get left off the list. Below are items that I think will improve your vacation and life! Let’s get started.

First things first, you need to make sure to pack a swimsuit you adore, a good pair of jean shorts, and a beach bag that could work dually as a purse. I am obsessed with the jean shorts linked above but they have great coverage and don’t fit super snug. The orange and pink suit is hands down one of my favorite suits from the past few years. It’s flattering, breathable, and comes in such cute colors and designs! Regarding beach bags, I bring the one above everywhere with me because I love how the tassel matches with any and every outfit. I also bring this one around quite a bit when traveling to the beach or pool.
