Paint Colors Used Throughout My South Carolina Farmhouse

One of the most frequent questions I get asked on Instagram is what paint colors I used within the rooms of my home. Instead of replying to each DM, I figured I would write a blog post all about it! As you know, we completely renovated the farmhouse we call home today. It took a lot of hard work while fixing it up, but picking out paint colors ended up being one of my favorite parts. I hope next time you are looking to renovate, you can use this as a guide to find some paint colors that you absolutely adore!

Paint Swatches Used In My Home

ALABASTER

Alabaster is the most used color in our home. It is an almost off-white paint color with neutral beige undertones. We used this color all over our home – from the walls, ceilings, doors and even the trim. We used Alabaster on our exterior as well. It’s safe to say its my favorite white!

SEA SALT
Used in the master bedroom, master bathroom, and playroom.

The paint color Sea Salt is another one we used throughout a large portion of our home. This paint color has gray undertones and can look different depending on the lighting in your home. I love how versatile and cooling it is.

INTIMATE WHITE
Milly Kate’s bedroom.

I absolutely adore this blush color for Milly Kate’s room. It has been so easy to decorate the interiors with since it goes with practically everything. Her vanity is Topiary Tint and the two blend together perfectly.

ROCK CANDY
Ryder’s Room

We chose Rock Candy, a white and pastel paint color for Ryder’s room and it, too, has been super easy to decorate with. It also happens to go perfectly with the color we chose for his vanity.

NAVAL

Naval is Sherwin Williams 2020 Color of the Year and I can totally tell why. We love how his vanity turned out with this moody color.

HALCYON GREEN
Recreation Room

This bold green is the perfect color for our rec room. It is bright in the morning time and takes on a warmer feel at night time.

VINTAGE VOGUE
Man Cave

Vintage Vogue, by Benjamin Moore, is such a timeless, classic paint color. We picked it out for the man cave and couldn’t imagine a better fit for this room.

Hattie Mae joined our family in 2023! We turned the man cave into a naturally lit, off white nursery.

Now, on to the most asked question. Our island, laundry cabinetry, lockers and guest bathroom vanity are all a custom color. Its basically sea salt darkened but has more green. I always advise to go for oyster bay to get the closest look.
