Did you know I love Christmas? That’s a trick question! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’ve been pestering my husband to start decorating for the holidays before Halloween was even over. We’ve put up a handful of Christmas trees, garland, and other holiday decor items already. I received a ton of requests asking for different decoration ideas for the rooms in your home, so today this blog post is for you!
How to Decorate Your Living Room
First, let’s tackle the living room! The living room is by far the easiest and most important room in the home to decorate for the holidays. If you are planning to have family and friends over, this will be the room you’ll want to spend your time and energy on. We always make sure to have a Christmas tree placed in this room, as well as decor on any mantles and coffee tables. I found so many cute holiday items (maybe too many) while shopping around this year! My favorite mantle decor can be found here, here, here, and here!

How to Decorate Your Bedroom
The bedroom is often overlooked when decorating your home, but not in the Crowe household! We like decorating the kid’s rooms as well as our master bedroom. I’m a believer in having the holiday spirit all throughout! Plus it puts you in the best mood seeing decorations from the moment you open your eyes!
It can be super simple to decorate the kids rooms! Add in a cute Christmas tree (with a tree topper of course!), string lights, a felt Christmas tree set, a festive couch chair cover, or twinkle lights.
How to Decorate Your Dining Room
While this year feels different for most, we still plan to decorate the dining room Christmas Eve dinner regardless of how many people are sitting around the table. I like to craft a tablescape and incorporate greenery and candles, while leaving plenty of space for the food dishes.
Here are what I plan to use at my tablescape this Christmas: candlesticks, greenery, and a seasonal table runner. I also love this dish towel, 16 piece dinnerware set, Santa mugs, and Christmas plate.
What vision do you have for your home this holiday season? I can’t wait to see all of the decorations start popping up on my IG feed this November and December! If you shop any of these items, please tag me in your stories and posts so I can see how you mastered the look! Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happiest of Holidays to all of you!
