Is your mom not big on presents? I always recommend building an experience as your gift because making memories with your family is priceless. If you are looking for some fun ideas for experiences to surprise a Mom with, here are just a few:

Plan a no electronics picnic. Make or buy lunch and go to a quiet place in a park or on the beach and keep all of your electronics put away. Enjoy a great conversation and a yummy meal!
Go on a shopping trip! Do you have a farmer’s market in your area? Is there a store that your “Mom” has been dying to go to, but hasn’t made the trip yet? Does the mother figure in your life have a favorite store? Go to that place, walk around, chat, enjoy the day looking at all the cool things. You don’t even need to buy anything!
SPA DAY! Plan an entire day packed full of relaxation, massages, facials or a trip to the sauna, there’s plenty to do! Take a trip to the nail salon for a pedicure. Stock up on face masks, nail polish and wine and plan a spa day at home.
Brunch, or any meal for that matter. Get Mom out of the kitchen and let her pick where she wants to go!
